After install ESET NOD32, press ESET NOD32 logo but no any response

Has this kind of situation is the computer hard disk includes the autorun.inf

autorun is Windows carries out the formula automatically, when uses the usb installment perhaps transportable hard disk time, if the usb installment has contained autorun.inf originally, if still carries out automatic operating procedure (autorun) with the family, it then can produce the autorun.inf document automatically under each hard disk machine table of contents, some also produces SVOHOST.exe or sxs.exe under windows system32, the file attribute is the concealed attribute.

It also can be forbid the anti-virus software automatically.

Processing method:

1. You may first download killautorun.zip from the below website.
http://www.nod32.com.hk/download/tools/AV-Killer cleaner.zip

After compresses this file, please direct run killautorun.bat

After execution complete, please right click “my computer”, select “management”



After select “management”, will display following picture

Please select left underneath “service and application program”, then click “serves”



In the right service table of contents, right click ESET NOD32 Kernel Service and select “content”


In the start type, please select “automatically”, and click “start”



2. After finish all the steps, please restart your computer.

4. Use ESET NOD32 to scan the computer in safe mode and clean viruses, please refer to: How to clean NewHeur_PE virus?

5. Restart the computer and check whether the problem has been solved.

Small prompt:

When use usb equipments or transportable hard disk, after user insert the hardware, holds the shift key immediately to prevent the automatic operating procedure start. User can use right key to open the hard disk, such autorun.inf will not run.
