How to recover Windows System file

When you suspect there may be a problem with a Windows XP system file, or you delete the Windows system file carelessly, you can choose scannow sfc:

1. Simply go to the 「Run」 box on the 「Start」:
2. Type in sfc /scannow as follow:

   

3. The following should appear:

   

4. This command will immediately initiate the Windows File Protection service to scan all protected files and verify their integrity, replacing any files with which it finds a problem.

   * If the following box appear, you should insert the Windows Disc and press 「Retry」to continue.

   

5. Restart Windows
