How to delete the uninstalled software in Add/Remove program?

Sometimes, we cannot delete the list in Add/Remove program even the software has been uninstalled .If you want to delete it, please try the solution which is provided by Microsoft. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301/en-us

Notice: It is only a tool for removing Windows Installer, it cannot delete all the files of program.
