Sometimes you find that the email attachments cannot be opened, in fact, this is not ESET NOD32 delete the files, it is the setting problem of Outlook Express.
Notes: If ESET NOD32 detect virus from attachments, it will delete the attachments directly and re-write the email subject to remind you.

Below the setting is not related to NOD32, it is only a sample for NOD32 user.
First, press “Tools”, and then “Options”

At Security page, don’t select “Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus”, and then press “Ok”

Open the email again, you will find that the attachments can be opened and saved.
