The reason of high efficiency of ESET NOD32 is not the number of scanned files. It is because the system is not uses too much resources and the scan speed.
For the number of scanned files, different antivirus software has the different ways to calculate the number. The default setting of ESET NOD32 manually scanner will not scan some security files, like txt, ini file.
